Thoughts on Woodism, written by my father, Jose Galindo Sr. ...

Reverend:

We spend our lives working for the man and wanting things that will make our lives better, we plan, we talk, we constantly wish for that car, tv, lottery, job… that will make our future much better than the lives we are living now.

But when we get to the end of our lives we long for those days that life was so simple, our needs were so little, we entertained ourselves with very little.

We realize now that we were happy then. We could have been much more happier if we only stop wishing for so many things that we did not get. We must enjoy the moment for the moment, our work for the people that we are so lucky to work with, our trip to work for the views, summers because they are hot winters for they are cold.

We should always aspire for a better future but not spend our lives planing a better future. We are who we are, we live here now; lets enjoy who we are, who we share our lives and the people that we meet, places that we go, food that we eat, books that we read.

Ed Wood did.

I Love You!
