Steve's Church-Less Movie Of The Week ...

Yoinked from Wikipedia, monsterhunter.coldfusionvideo.com and IMDB ...

"A Dead Man Hung in the Web is the literal translation of Ein Toter hing im Netz, title of a German-Yugoslav sci-fi film, a 1960 film directed by Fritz Böttger. The film was subsequently dubbed and released in the United States as an adult-only feature titled It's Hot in Paradise in 1962, and later re-issued in 1967 in a slightly edited version called Horrors of Spider Island. The titles of this film include A Body in the Web (USA), Ein toter Hing Im Netz (West Germany),The Girls of Spider Island (USA), It's Hot in Paradise (USA) and The Spider's Web (USA).

Not as deliriously loopy as the similarly themed film Bloody Pit Of Horror, this movie is still able to generate some laughs that rapidly turn into groans with its tale of supposedly sexy dancers crash landing on an island inhabited by a giant spider (there may have been a whole bunch of giant spiders, but all I saw was one frail looking thing hanging from some very visible, even in the night shots, rope). Yep, it's another one of those foreign, early 60s affairs about a group of hot babes menaced by a creature at some remote locale."
