Steve's Church-less Movie Of The Week ...

Yoinked from the almighty imdb machine of knowledge ...

"Super Argo is a 1968 Italian wrestling/superhero movie directed by Paolo Bianchini and starring Giovanni Cianfriglia and Guy Madison. The film is also known under such alternate titles as Superargo and the Faceless Giants, Superargo Contre Les Robots, Superargo El Gigante, and The King of Criminals.

In the film, a masked wrestler and part time superhero goes up against a crazed madman and his army of robots. There are hokey bits of comic book indulgence and many find the movie boring, and while some parts do tend to drag on it isn't nearly as bad as, say, everything Jerry Bruckheimer has made.

Cinema Insomnia is a nationally syndicated American television series presented by horror host Mr. Lobo. Typically, Mr. Lobo opens each episode by promising to screen a well-known horror or science fiction classic (such as The Creature from the Black Lagoon or Alien); however budgetary limitations, acts of God or other circumstances invariably force him to show a much lower quality movie (such as Starcrash or Santa Claus Conquers The Martians). Unlike the various hosts and robots of Mystery Science Theater 3000, Mr. Lobo does not appear while the movie is playing; instead he appears in brief vignettes in between segments of the movie.

In the episode of Cinema Insomnia in which Mr. Lobo presents the movie SuperArgo, Irwin Keyes and Tom Savini are also interviewed. The episode is also shown in SuperArgo scope, which allows you to see what happens on the edge of the screen during Cinema Insomnia that you've always been missing."

... AND NOW, Steve and this blog are both PROUD to once again present today's Church-less Movie of the Week in its entirety FOR FREE! But lets go over a few rules first. There's no talking in Steve's Theater during our feature presentation and talkers WILL be eaten alive!

Also, no cell phones or African-American berries in the theater. No open flames. Dispose of all trash in its proper receptacle. And NO TEXTING! I am very serious about that one.

And be sure to dim your headlights (where applicable).

ENJOY THE SHOW, Y'ALL!
